Via PCE UNEDasiss
The Russian certificate of secondary general education is homologated in Spain as the Spanish Título de Bachiller. For applicants from non-EU countries without a reciprocity agreement, UIB gives access to bachelor's degrees without an entrance exam: you need the homologation document issued by the Ministry of Education and, if you sat PCE exams, also the UNEDasiss accreditation. Taking the PBAU or the PCE exams (UNED) is optional, but they improve your chances of admission. Homologation can take several months; you can enrol provisionally by showing proof that you have applied for homologation. The UIB website has a separate admission section for foreigners, and more details on the procedure are in the Spanish version of the page. UIB sources do not mention a preparatory (foundation) course.
Without PCE exams the UNEDasiss accreditation grade will be between 5 and 6 points; you can take up to 6 PCE subjects. Places are capped: for example, the Grado en Ingeniería Informática in Palma has 150 for 2026/27. One of the conditions for the fee exemption is Spanish or EU nationality; non-EU foreigners must prove resident status.

If the Ministry of Education has recognised your studies as equivalent to the Spanish Técnico Superior diploma, UIB admits you without an entrance exam. You submit the homologation document (plus the UNEDasiss accreditation if you sat PCE), and your entrance mark is the mark stated on the homologation document. You may optionally take the PBAU or the PCE exams (UNED) to improve your chances.
